Any true fans of the film Mean Girls (2004) will already know the answer...
October 3rd is popularly known as Mean Girls Day because of the now infamous scene that features our heroine, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) and the object of her affection, high school hottie, Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett). As protagonist and narrator, Cady relays that “On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was.” to which she dreamily replies “It's October 3rd."
It’s fair to say Mean Girls now has cult status and we are flying the flag on this unofficial holiday. Today fans around the world will dress as their favourite characters and religiously follow the Mean Girls fashion rules! So today being a Monday, we should all wear coloured shoes! Fans also share Mean Girls gifs, memes and of course quotes! Of which there are many!
